This is a couple certainly not to forget! Sarah’s ideas were amazing – and continually changing! Her table designs went from Martini Vases, to Candelabrums, then back to Martini Vases until finally I found some amazing Chandelier’s that were going to be just perfect for her Gatsby themed wedding.
Sarah and Kevin’s flower budget was great to work with and allowed us to get a good scope on all their floral requirements.
As you can see from the picture above taken by Jake Moore Photography, their wedding was held at The Eastclose Hotel in Hinton St. Michael, but rather than their Wedding Breakfast be in the usual Garden Room, they opted to have everyone gathered and sat down in The Conqueror.
Sarah’s flower brief was that she didn’t like foliage. She also provided me pictures on what she like through her Pinterest Board. Her ideas was expensive so I had to raine her in slightly! Here colour theme was Ivories, Taupe and Gold . . .Her Bridal Bouquet was a natural and simply stunning Hand Tied of Ivory ‘David Austin’ Roses and Ivory ‘Avalanche’ Roses, mixed in with wired heads of double Ivory Lisianthus. As she was not a lover of foliage, I used a gorgeous decorative silver foliage – senico. Her handle was finished off with an Ivory Chiffon, held together with Pearl pins.
Sarah’s Bridesmaids has a smaller version to the Bridal Bouquet, but having the ‘David Austin’ Roses removed.
The tables were just amazing! As these Chandeliers were new, Sarah and myself were both doubly exciting about seeing the outcome and the final look . . Again, the brief was to keep the foliage to a minimum and I also wanted to keep it simple and classy. Hydrangeas were fantastic to work with, as well as Stocks for their scent. Roses were also a must! All designs were done in a dish, allowing their guests to take home after the day’s celebrations. Here are a few professional and non- professional pictures:
Chandelier stands can now be HIRED out for your day. Priced at £50.00 per stand. Floral designing NOT included.
Sarah and Kevin finished off the Ceremony Room with our popular Black “MR & MRS” sign, a floral fireplace with Storm Lamps, and Ivory Carpet (rather than the red! – looks so much better!) and Chair sashes.
