This morning I received some fantastic photos from a Bride that I designed for last month – Anna Poulton. Straight away I hit it off with Anna. I will never really forget Anna as she is a huge ‘Prince’ (the singer!) fan and said that if he was preforming at the O2 the day of her wedding, the wedding would be OFF!
Her ideas were great and she had chosen a silver colour theme for her wedding.
We supplied her with Lycra chair covers, finished off with a Silver organza sash, which worked with the room beautifully at one of our favourite hotels, The Eastclose Hotel, Hinton St. Michael.
Anna wanted an all Ivory Bridal Bouquet with hints of silver bought through the design – this could have been Eucalyptus but I decided that as Senico leaves were now in season, we should make use of them!
She emailed me regularly with ideas that she has liked and it was clear that she feel in love with Peonies . . . but sadly, due to the weather that Holland have had this year, the quality of the peonies have been very poor and advised her that we who have to used something else. The alternative to a Peony are stunning roses grown by David Austin Roses. She loved them straight away – so this is what we designed to use!
To help keep costs down, her Bridesmaids all carried Hand Tied of Ivory Roses and Senico leaves.
Anna had purchased some wonderful Crystal Globes and wanted me to dress them according to her liking. Simple and elegant – this she all she wanted. Around the based of the Globes, a pad of White Hydrangeas finished off the tables perfectly. The Top Table was dressed with Silver crackled bowls (provided by us), filled with clusters of flowers to match and suit the wedding . . .
Here is a small selection of pictures, both Guest Tables and Top Table:
. . . and a final few words from Anna herself:
“Thank you so so much – everything looked absolutely amazing and it was all down to you! I really was blown away, I loved all your amazing designs!”
