Early on within the year, we saw the wedding of Kate and Jamie Parker. I have known Kate and Jamie for years as they were my old next door neighbours.
I guided them as much as I could when it came to organising their wedding by giving them advice on the best wedding venues, photographers and of course, floral design’s. They finally picked their wedding venue as The Eastclose Hotel and one of our recommended photographers, Julian Porter.
Kate wanted a natural wedding with natural flowers and working with the colours Taupe, Ivory and Pinks.
Kate and Jamie had a few Luxury designs throughout their day (and I always say ‘luxury’ as sometimes it can take you over budget!).
They opted to have hanging tee light balls on their already stunning Martini vases, as well as the popular black “MR & MRS” sign with some cheeky additional letters spelling “PARKER”. We also produced floral designs mixed in with Storm Lamps on the Fireplace and Top Table.
Chair Covers and Sashes were also supplied by us.
Kate’s choice of flowers included Hydrangeas, Pale Pink ” Sweet Avalanche” Roses, trailing Euphorbia, Double Ivory Lisianthus and gorgeous scented Ivory Stocks.
The Flutes of the vases were filled with an Ivory Organza, which hides the dish used for the arrangements, allowing Kate and Jamie to give the flowers away as gifts after the day’s celebration.
Many thanks to Julian Porter Photography for providing me with a selection of photos from the wedding and thank you Kate and Jamie for letting me apart of your BIG day!
